Your expert guide will enlighten you with local knowledge, the best of the city’s cuisine and local Argentine customs. You will enjoy a grilled provoleta (a variation of provolone cheese), chorizo slices, homemade chimichurri (savory sauce from grilled meat), warm bread and salsa criolla (sliced onion with herbs). Eat a juicy sirloin steak, one of the best cuts of meat accompanied by mashed potatoes and oven-roasted vegetables. For dessert, you can make your own alfajores, a sweet that combines a cookie with dulce de leche (caramel), melted chocolate fondue and coconut shavings – a combination that will delight your senses! During the meal, enjoy a good malbec wine. You will also learn about the history and etiquette of the mate drink, one of Argentina’s national pastimes, and taste the subtle flavors of its creation.
